Beauty Is Everywhere...

Dear Boston & Braxton,

This weekend, I was able to spend some time out in our beautiful world. I was able to walk around and think. And, as I did, I was able to admire nature. God has given us some many beautiful gifts to enjoy. We just have to take the time to SLOW down and appreciate the world around us. God has painstakingly worked on every little detail to make his world beautiful and unique. Beauty can be found in a blade of grass, a caterpillar, a rock, a tree, etc. If one looks, beauty is everywhere.

George Washington Carver once said, "I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in."

Tune into the beauty of nature:

This weekend, I admired nature and was able to snap those pictures.

Just remember to slow down a little and enjoy the world around you. It is a gift from your Heavenly Father. He wants you to enjoy and appreciate it.

And, like Alice Walker says, "I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it."

I love you boys.

Love,
Daddy

  1. Your daddy was born in this part of the country. He spent the first 4 years of his life spending time on Cedar mountain, camping and fishing with your Papi and Nana.

Your Papi loves this little part of the world (God's Country). He would live on Cedar Mountain if he could. He is excited to take you and your cousins fishing and hiking.

You are coming to a family that loves you so much. We are waiting!!!

    Your Nana
