Our Superhero...

A superhero is defined as "a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers".

Secret fraternity aside, we all know about the world of superheroes. For years, they have spoiled the plans of evil, maniacal villains on the silver screen, helped prepare us to fight crime from the comforts of our couches, taught us sweet tag lines to yell in traffic, and been saviors in our hands once we left the toy aisle.

They are the secret guardians of the night protecting us from the evil of the world. They fight for justice. They stand for truth.

From the streets of Gotham to the towering high-rises of Metropolis and everywhere in between, they keep the streets free of crime. Iconic figures with mystical powers come for the shadows to run, fly, and kick their way into our hearts.

Regardless of their powers, association, or membership with the Justice League or The Avengers; they fight for the ideals of the people, sacrificing themselves for the good of society.
The powers used for the greater good include Superman's ability to fly, the Flash's ability to sprint, the Hulk's superhuman strength, and Spiderman's ability to sling webs. And, we cannot forget that Batman is a muscular genius.
All those powers are incredible.

Now, imagine...just imagine...all of these powers contained within one single person. That's right...the capes, masks, super powers, sidekicks, theme songs, secret identities and tights also included.

While you imagine what that hero would be like, I can show you. Because the definition of superhero is flawed...real heroes aren't fictional.

I know a superhero who has done amazing things in past few months. She makes Batman, Superman, Spiderman, the Hulk, and Wolverine look like your local Girl Scout troop. She makes the powers of flight, super speed, and spidey sense seem obsolete. She is a superhero of the highest order. She is SUPER MOMMY.
But, she isn't just any ordinary mom. Because, lets be honest, any woman can carry just one baby.
That's right...if you think you are tough...think again. For the rest of my life, I will be proud to stand next to one of the toughest women around. She is an inspiration to me.
She has the super powers to carry and grow two babies at one time. And, to be honest, there is no greater super power than the one she holds.

So, move of Justice League, step aside Avengers...

Because we have all the hero we need.

In the words of Lt. Gordon, we have "a hero. Not the one we deserved but the hero we needed. Nothing less..."

There is no way I deserve her, but I am glad to say she is my hero!

This will happen in the future when Boston and Braxton realize just how great their mother is.

 Love,
Dad
