Jam Sessions...

Dear Mic Check & Drumroll,

It's TIME for another nightly JAM SESSION!

It usually begins with a little Bon Jovi. And, what can I say, you can never go wrong with a little JBJ. Just take a look at the link to see just how epic JAM SESSIONS can be!

And...these nightly JAM SESSIONS usually turn into a DANCE PARTY. Just take a look at the link to see just how legendary my dance skills are. And, sorry it is difficult to see...your Uncle B is challenged when it comes to electronics.

JAM SESSIONS have become a staple of the Barrow household. Starting when your cousins, Shane and Kennedy, were just wee little ones...we began jamming out on Rock Band. And, the trend has continued for years.
Keep in mind...all of these were just acoustic practice sessions. In order to see the actual concert, you have to buy the DVD...don't worry it is being released soon.

And, if this isn't enough, just ask your mom about the Butterfly Emerging from a Cocoon routine.

Anyways, on a nightly basis, we have been playing some sweet jams for you guys. And, you guys have really taken to a few awesome jams. You guys have kicked to Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds", hiccuped to Queen's "We Will Rock You, danced to The Beatles "Let It Be", and thrown right hooks at your mommy's ribs while pretending to be Rocky as Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" played. And, don't even get me started on the chaos that occurs when I play some Johnny Cash for you. The Man in Black almost makes you two spontaneously combust with excitement as "Ring of Fire", "Ghost Riders in the Sky", or my personal favorite "Hurt".

Music is awesome, and you guys already love it. I am just excited that the number of kicks that occur to Justin Beiber, The Jonas Brothers, and Miley Cyrus are equal to zero. But, the number of kicks that occur to Marley, Lennon, Collins, Clapton, and Cash is too high for me to count.

As long as you don't listen to your Uncle Jonas or Aunt Alexis when it comes to music, you will do alright.

Love,
Dad

  1. Hey, I was involved in these too. I sang (badly) and played the bass guitar. I didn't make the picture cut but your Nana did participate and so did your Aunt Ashlee, Uncle Ty and Aunt Riss. We we seem to be sadly missing from the fun (but don't worry we were there).

    Love Nana
